
Jesse McCoy
Jesse McCoy is a Senior Consultant with McCoy Consulting, Inc. He joined the firm in 2004 and has over eight years experience as a risk management and claim professional. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance, which he earned from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He was a Delta Epsilon Iota National Honors Society member and a Gamma Iota Sigma member and scholarship recipient.
Mr. McCoy began his career with McCoy Consultant as a representative of a wholly owned subsidiary, Healthesystems, one of the nation’s largest workers’ compensation pharmacy benefit management programs. He then became a workers’ compensation consultant and adjuster handling catastrophic claims and Subsequent Injury Trust Fund recoveries. He is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP), Legal Principles Claim Specialist (LPCS), Casualty Claim Law Associate (CCLA), Property Claim Law Associate (PCLA), Workers' Compensation Claim Law Associate (WCLA), and Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA). He is a licensed Workers’ Compensation Claim adjuster as well as a Property Casualty Claims adjuster in Georgia.
He currently serves as a member of the advisory committee for claims and self insurance training for the State of Georgia Annual Workers Compensation Seminar. He has represented Kids’ Chance of Georgia at various functions.
As a consultant/adjuster with McCoy Consulting, Inc. he assists with file reviews when auditing firms for best practice compliance and reserving. He has performed dozens of file audits in this capacity. In addition he audits claims for firms to increase their recovery from the Georgia Subsequent Injury Trust Fund resulting in additional recoveries totaling over $20 million. He also assists with rebuttal reports for trial in expert testimony.
Mr. McCoy is further certified in Xactimate 27.1 Software and is California Earthquake certified. He is also an Independent Crawford Catastrophe adjuster.
